The CHS Georgia Chapter entertained 10 MMH students the evening of March 30, 2026 with a reception at the Hamilton Hotel in Alpharetta, Georgia.  The students were visiting Atlanta as part of this year’s MMH Master Class Project.  Accompanying the students were Professor Alex Susskind and Yiyi Grazul.

This year the students were charged with assisting Ryan Pernice ’07, Founder of R.O. Hospitality.  Ryan owns and operates two restaurants in Roswell, Georgia.  Multiple teams of students were assigned to assist Ryan with the enhancement of existing operating and training manuals, evaluating new restaurant concepts, and studying future development opportunities in the greater Atlanta market.

During their stay, the MMH students also enjoyed:

  • Hospitality Industry update from Mark Woodworth ’77 and John Longstreet ‘77
  • Meeting with the management team of R.O. Hospitality
  • Tours and dinner at Castellucci Hospitality Group restaurants – Hosts: Stephanie ’09 and Fred ’07 Castellucci
  • Walking tour of historical Roswell led by the Visit Roswell
  • Presentation by Jim Stomont – Johnson ’85, regarding the Avalon mixed-use development in Alpharetta
  • Dinner at Table & Main and Osteria Mattone, the two R.O. Hospitality restaurants
  • Tour of IHG Innovation Center hosted by David Mei ‘94

CHS Georgia wishes the students and Ryan the best of success with their class projects.
