The Cayuga Classic: Everything You Need to Know to Secure Your Spot
The response to our Save the Date has been tremendous, and we are humbled that so many reached out to show support for this idea. Yet, we must admit we're not wholly surprised: a Hotelie reunion with two of the most celebrated courses in the California desert is quite a winning combination.
Today, we are ready to share the full picture. Here is what the inaugural Cayuga Classic looks like:
The Event
• Dates: September 17–19, 2026
• Venue: Mission Hills Country Club, Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs), California
• Courses: Arnold Palmer Signature Course (Friday) and Pete Dye Challenge Course (Saturday)
• Format: Individual stroke play on Friday; Ryder Cup-style team format on Saturday
• Field: 72 golfers (limited — do not wait)
• Non-golfer participation: 50 spots for spouses, partners, and guests — full access to all social and educational programming, as well as local non-golfer programs.
The Weekend
• Thursday, Sept 17 — The Desert Kickoff: Welcome reception under the stars at the Mission Hills Clubhouse
• Friday, Sept 18 — Golf on the Arnold Palmer Course + Fairway Forum + CHS Alumni Dinner
• Saturday, Sept 19 — Golf on the Pete Dye Course + Networking Lunch with Keynote + Inaugural Awards Dinner
Why This Weekend Is Unlike Any Other
The Cayuga Classic is not just a golf event. Friday evening features the Fairway Forum — a high-caliber industry panel bringing together some of the most influential voices in hospitality. Saturday, a luncheon featuring a keynote speaker. And the weekend closes with an Inaugural Awards Dinner featuring a "State of the School" update from Nolan School leadership that will set the tone for every Cayuga Classic to come.
Registration is now open, with an early bird price available for a limited time. To be among the first to secure your spot — for golfers and non-golfers alike — use the link in this email to express your interest and register.
Spaces are strictly limited to 72 golfers and 50 non-golfer guests.
