CHS Launches Mentoring Program - Hotelie Office Hours

One of the most powerful aspects of being part of the Cornell Hotel Society is the shared belief that learning doesn’t end at graduation—it evolves with us throughout our careers.

That’s exactly why we’re excited to invite you to participate in our mentoring program: Hotelie Office Hours.

This program was created in direct response to what our members asked for—a meaningful way to connect, share knowledge, and support one another across industries, roles, and generations. Whether you are a seasoned leader with years of experience or an alum earlier in your journey with fresh perspectives and specialized skills, there is tremendous value you can offer.

Likewise, if you are navigating a career transition, exploring a new industry, or simply looking to grow, this program is designed for you.

What makes this program special?
It’s built by Hotelies, for Hotelies. The structure is simple and flexible:

  • A six-month mentoring relationship
  • One hour per month (or a cadence that works for both participants)
  • Thoughtful matching based on your interests and goals

The impact, however, can be lasting—new insights, expanded networks, and relationships that extend well beyond the program itself.

How to get involved:
Signing up is quick and easy through The CHS Lobby. Just ensure your membership is current and complete the short application.

Timing:

  • Sign-ups are open now through May 31
  • Matches will be made in June, with introductions shortly thereafter
