55th Annual EMEA Regional Meeting held in Amsterdam

The EMEA 2023 Region Meeting was held in Amsterdam in April.  Hotelies came from far and wide to attend this favorite annual event.  

Over 110 Hotelies joined from more than 22 countries for this special weekend.  Highlights included:

  • The annual CHS Leadership Summit and event welcome cocktail at our host hotel, The Hilton Amsterdam.
  • A full day hospitality educational summit at the host hotel, featuring a variety of exciting speakers and panels.
  • A delicious summit finale with a tasting of local Benelux wines, beers and spirits led by SHA Senior Lecturers Cheryl Stanley and Doug Miller.
  • Friday night industry dinner hosted by The Anantara Hotel in the heart of the city.
  • Saturday local tours, with members having a choice between:
    • A tour of the famous Keukenhof Tulip Fields followed by lunch at the Breakers Beach Club in Noordwijk.
    • The Amsterdam Trends in Hospitality and Design Inspiration tour, including a tour of Dutch design agency Nicemakers and local spa concept The House of Rituals, followed by lunch at Sama Sebo Indonesian restaurant.
  • An evening champagne cruise along the canal to celebrate our school's 100th anniversary, transporting our guests from our host hotel to the gala reception and dinner.
  • Our famous gala dinner and scholarship auction in the famous Council Chamber of Sofitel Legend The Grand Hotel.

First Generation Hotel School Students are Hosted in Atlanta
